I would not consider myself a great lover of poetry but its power is not lost on me. When I come across the right poem, it has the power to capture my attention and touch me.

Thought of saving this post until National Poetry Day but since the poem I came across, The Back of the Internet , was so good I didn't feel right holding off that long. Besides it was commissioned and written to celebrate this year’s 25th anniversary of the birth of the world wide web.
