Sometime just over a year ago Linkedin suddenly and without notification, dropped its Reading List Application. I was big fan of this application using it not only to keep up on what others were reading and updating the LinkedIn community on what business books I was reading but also as a repository of my reviews.

What was disappointing is that LinkedIn did not provide any information on how to access my list of books or retrieve the actual reviews. If they did, I wasn't able to find it. That was the bad news. The good news is that off and on I would search for how I could find my long lost reviews. Finally, about six months ago I found the answer.

Amazon, who was part of the original Reading List application, had taken charge of the lists and reviews and made them accessible through their (not widely known) reading social media platform Shelfari.com. You can take a look at my page at Shelfari.com/jtofarrell.
