Codebreaker, a joint podcast production of NPR’s MarketPlace Tech and TechInsider returns for a second season November 16th. If this season is anything like last year’s inaugural season we should be in for some really insightful deep dive technology stories.
Codebreaker once again takes the 5-7 minute format of its daily update and expands it out to a 30-40 minute in depth story. Last year’s theme was to frame each story around the question “is it evil?” This year the equally absurd theme is “can it save us?”
To be honest the “is it evil” theme was nearly irrelevant to each week’s story and that is OK because the stories were great. Expecting more of the same this season. And if having a “theme” gives you an “angle” that gets the NPR management team to fund the project, I’m all for absurd themes.
Based on last year's work and the quality daily program, highly recommend listening to this podcast series.
